With all my thanks,

Ross M. F. Firth

I grew up in a small city in Lincolnshire. Having found a passion and skill for English and writing at a young age, I moved to Hampshire in 2014 in order to study English Literature at the University of Winchester. In 2017, I graduated and moved back to my hometown, where I am now.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, from the mountains of Catalonia to the deserts of Arabia to the rolling hills and jungles of New Zealand. I’ve seen some breathtaking sights, and met dozens of wonderful people, all with their own stories to tell. I’ve tried my best to document what I’ve seen and experienced, and that’s exactly why I decided to start a blog.

Particularly taking an interest in the works of J. R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin, I have tried my hand at a series of fantasy novels. I have also written poetry and both comedic and more sombre posts on current affairs, travel experiences and tips and tricks for travellers new or old.

This blog is the first step on a very long road, and marks a move away from my Rambling Man blog towards a more professional and constant series of content.

I will be writing blog articles when I can. As time progresses, I will be focusing on my blog more and more, so keep checking back for updates on when to expect the next post!
